I find such invites frustrating since I live in neither Dallas nor Fort Worth (no voice), but am profoundly affected by whatever fashion either happens to adopt for its latest and greatest transportation approach.
My comments on the FW plan and offer to ride the subject roads with anyone involved with planning the system were basically met with a "trust us" response. I'm pretty sure the bike routes up north were derived from a combination of looking at a map and thinking of ways to make lines connect. No one actually riding those roads would create such a system.
